Michael Sidgmore is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Broadhaven Ventures, a global early-stage investor that invests in financial technology businesses and incubates alternative asset managers including Cantilever Group, an investment firm providing minority capital solutions to General Partners.

Michael is the Founder of the leading private markets focused podcast and content platform Alt Goes Mainstream (AGM), which has produced over 230 podcasts with industry leaders and a weekly newsletter that reaches over 400,000 professionals across both AGM's channels and through a syndication partnership with Bloomberg. Michael has served on the boards of Nowports, Liveoak (acq. DocuSign), Covalto, Harvest (acq. Envestnet) and as an advisor to Republic, Kovi (acq. Moove) and Allocate.

Prior to co-founding Broadhaven Ventures, Michael was a pre-product employee, Senior Vice President and seed investor at iCapital, where he built the sales team for the leading technology platform in alternatives with over $1 trillion in platform assets. Prior to iCapital, he was employee #16 and the first sales hire at Mosaic, a residential solar financing platform backed by Warburg Pincus that has completed over $14 billion in home solar loan originations.

Michael started his career as an investor at Goldman Sachs in their Principal Strategic Investments Group. Michael is an investor in Angel City FC, the women's soccer team in LA. He holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
